Gordon Brown passed away peacefully on Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital. Gordon was a retired member of the RCAF/CAF. He was a foster parent for over 25 years as well as a volunteer bus driver for the Air Cadet squadrons for 25 years. Born in Pakenham, ON, son of the late Charles and Irene Brown. Gordon will be sadly missed by his wife Evelyn of 53 years, two sons; Robert of Moncton, Donald (Sylvia) of Miramichi and one daughter Catherine (Jamie) Keays of Miramichi, two grandsons Alex and Ryan. Also survived by one sister Marion (Don) Dodds of Clayton, ON as well as two nephews. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, June 30 from 12:00 pm – 2:20 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Fair Haven at 2:30 pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fair Haven Cemetery. Remembrances in Gordon’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.
