COPPAWAY, Gloria Joy – of Curve Lake First Nation, peacefully at Palliative Care, PRHC on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer in her 68th year. Beloved spouse and best friend of Roderick (Ricky) Boyd Knott, loving daughter of the late Aubrey and Joyce Coppaway and cherished mother of Bruce, Audra (Biagio), and Nathan (Jill). Devoted grandmother of Jessica (Chad) Vernon, BC, Tyler (Bess) Calgary, AB, Brittany (Paul), Cody, Clinton (April), Johnny, and Lanny, and Great grandmother to Hannah, Taylor, Sarah, Paolo and Willow. Cherished sister of Noble (Rob), Penny (Stu), Adam (Michelle), Bertha, and Obie (Samantha). Predeceased by her sister Lillian (Tilly) (Amos) and brother Peter. Gloria will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Gloria always had a special place in her heart for helping members of all ages within her community. A graveside service will be held at the Curve Lake Cemetery on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow at the Curve Lake Community Centre. Cremation has taken place. Special thanks to nieces Laura and Jacolen for always being with momma at the hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Mallory, Dr. Lo, Dr. Youssef, and the nurses at the palliative care unit.
