Gilberte Bordage
1941-2017
RICHIBUCTO, NB – Gilberte Bordage, 75, of
Richibucto passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste.
Anne de Kent on Tuesday, July 11th, 2017. Born
in Rexton, she was a daughter of the late Edgar Robichaud and
Célanire (Vautour) Robichaud. Before retiring, Gilberte was
a school teacher and taught for many
years.
Gilberte
will be sadly missed by her long time partner, Ola Daigle; three
daughters, Jocelyne Bordage (Andrew), Francine Bordage, Christine
Ashfield (Andy); one son Daniel Bordage (Norma) and several
grandchildren.
She is
also survived by one sister; Anne-Marie Richard (Léopold);
one brother Yrois Robichaud (Christine); and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides
her parents, Gilberte was predeceased by her first husband, Vernon
Bordage.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s
Funeral Home in Richibucto on Friday, July 14th
from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Saturday at 9:00 am until departure for the
funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 15,
2017 at 11:00 am, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church,
Richibucto. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s
Funeral. Donations in Gilberte’s memory may be
made to the Canadian Cancer Society or NB Heart and Stroke.
