The family announces his unexpected passing on Tuesday November 29, 2016, in Timmins, Ontario, at the age of 60.
Loving father of Joey Gagné and Michelle Mireault (Jason), all of Timmins.
Cherished grandfather of Preston Mireault.
Dear brother of Gisèle Gagné (Mike Hurst) of Timmins, Denise Legault (Robert) of Ottawa, Gerry Gagné (Darlene) of Timmins and Gisele Rooke (Jim) of Kingston.
Predeceased by his parents Mathilda (née Levasseur) and Rene Gagné.
Gil worked in the Timmins Mining industry his whole life, beginning at the age of 18.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping and fishing.
He also had a soft heart and would take in stray animals.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday December 6, 2016 at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday December 6, 2016 from 12-2pm at Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home.
Donations made to the Timmins and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated
