It is with great sadness that Gary’s family announces his passing on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the age of 73 years.
He was predeceased by parents Henry and Angelika; and siblings Hilda and Karl.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years Leonila; children Melody (Tyler) Smith; Sherrisse Kiefer and Desiree Kiefer; granddaughter Elisha; sister Theresa Desjardins; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Gary was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a good life, was happy and optimistic right until the end.
A PRAYER SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
A FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated at St Martin Roman Catholic Church, 4720 Castle Road, Regina, SK on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
Donations in memory of Gary may be made to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan, 1231 – 8 Street E, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 917A Albert Street, Regina, SK S4R 2P6.
