Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce that Gareth (Gary) Paul Kelly unexpectedly passed away due to a heart attack on February 7th, 2017 whilst we were on vacation in Mexico. He was 53 years old.
Gary has been my best friend, my rock and loving husband for over 35 years. He was a devoted dad to our son Jack and a deeply loved brother to Annette and Mike, loving son-in-law to my mum Ronnie, as well as a loyal brother-in-law.
The Celebration of Gary’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21st 2017 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton, AB, T6P 1R3 (780-468-2222), followed by a reception until approximately 5pm.
Prior to the service, there is an opportunity to pay your last respects to Gary and leave any personal messages or mementos with him. In addition, throughout the day, a Memory Book will be available for written personal messages for our keeping.
Please note this is a celebration of life and therefore formal attire is not necessary. Please feel free to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.
Gary had many friends and d lots of funny and interesting stories with Jack and myself. It would be an honour for some of these stories, anecdotes and occasions to be d at the reception.

There is a Facebook Event created under Lesley Kelly, named “Gareth (Gary) Kelly’s Celebration of Life Service” please RSVP through that by 12noon, Friday February 17th 2017. This will assist with catering numbers.
