It is with great sadness that the family of the late Fred Reckling announce his passing at the Carmelite in Grand Falls-Windsor on May 11, 2016 at the age of 63. Frederick was a member of the United States Army. He is predeceased by his father, Ernest H. Reckling Jr.; and mother, Jean Reckling. Frederick leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories brother, Paul Reckling (Paula) of St. John’s, NL; sister, Darlene Rideout (Keith) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; sister, Gloria Frye of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and brother, Ernest Reckling (Carol) of CBS, NL. Also leaving to mourn are nephews, Chris Frye of Melbourne Beach, FL; Ryan Rideout of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; Matthew Reckling of CBS, NL; and nieces, Tammy Marraige of St. Cloud, FL, Melissa Goudie of Calgary, AB, Erin Ledrew, Sarina Reckling of CBS, NL, Beth Reckling of St. John’s, NL, Amy Reckling of Ottawa, ON, and Heather Reckling of Montreal, QC. Father William Hearn and Father Emmanuel Osuagwu will conduct the Celebration of Life at Central Funeral homes on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 2:00 P.M.
