It is with sadness the family of Franklyn «Frank» William Bird announce his passing on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Kyle District Health Centre at the age of 88 years.
Frank is survived by his wife of 62 years Peggy of Kyle, SK; sons Ben and Bert of Kyle, SK; daughter Lori (George) Spencer of Benalto, AB; grandsons Darcy (Jenifer) Heyden of Glaslyn, SK, Dwayne Heyden of Spiritwood, SK and Travis (Brandy) Heyden of Meadow Lake, SK; granddaughters Kaytlin (Jason) Anderson of Drayton Valley, AB and Korrine (Kris) Heyden of North Battleford, SK; great-grandchildren Riley, Connor, Jacob and Rydin; sister Joyce Swanson of Crossfield, AB as well as numerous sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his mother and father-in-law, his brothers and sisters, brother and sister-in-laws and his granddaughter Amanda.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Kyle United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Jim MacNaughton officiating.
