Obituary
Florence died peacefully December 30 2016 at the age of 94. She was born on February 28, 1922 in Beaumont, Alberta.
Florence was predeceased by her husband Tony (Antoine) Magnan in 1992 and her daughter Lorraine Brown in 2014. She is survived by her daughter Jeannette (Roger) Beaudoin; 6 grandsons, Lance (Kelly) Letawsky, Kent Letawsky, Ryan Letawsky, Dennis (Susy) Beaudoin, Allan (Wanda) Beaudoin, Gerald (Heather) Beaudoin; and 1 granddaughter Lynn Beaudoin; 17 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Florence was the last remaining member of her family (parents: Joseph and Marie-Louise Maisonneuve).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on January 7 2016, at St. Agnes Catholic Parish, (10826-62 Avenue, Edmonton). Florence’s wishes were to be cremated and an interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Florence Magnan may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to a charity of one’s choice.
