Evelyn Urquhart
1925-2017
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Evelyn
Jean (Long) Urquhart, age 91, of Plaster Rock, NB, formerly of Lower
Kars, NB, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the
Grand Falls General Hospital. Evelyn was born in Belleisle
Creek, NB, on September 17, 1925, a daughter of the late Henry and
Margaret (Knollin) Long.
She is survived by her children: Douglas Urquhart and his
wife Sheila, Eric Urquhart and his wife Doris and Joyce McKillop all
of Plaster Rock, NB; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great
grandchildren; one great great grandson; sister Laura Peck of Wickham,
NB; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Evelyn
was predeceased by her loving husband Hazen in 2005; sister Pearl
Raymond; and brothers Wilmot and Carl Long; son-in-law Rev. James
McKillop; and infant grandson Wesley McKillop.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s
Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road,
Norton, NB, where visitation will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from
3 to 8PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 at
1:00PM from Outreach Pentecostal Church, Hatfield Point, NB. Interment
will take place in Beulah Cemetery, Kars, NB.

Dept. or to the memorial of the donor’s choice. Personal
