Obituary for Estelle Brill (Née Vachon)
The family announces with great sorrow her death on Friday July 21, 2017 at the Timmins and District Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 80 years. Loving mother to Heather Brill-Girard (André) of Timmins and Jamie Cahill (Janine) of Oshawa; cherished grandmother to Hailey and Tanner Girard; beloved sister to Ray Vachon of Timmins and Roly Vachon (Erin) of Owen Sound; dear niece of Irene Lainsbury of Timmins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Charlie and Colette Vachon. Estelle worked locally in the airline industry for 40 years. Her life was centered around her family, especially her daughter and grandchildren. She will be missed by her family, her numerous friends and neighbors. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Zilka and all the nurses who took excellent care of Mom. A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 27, 2017 at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel with Msgr. Pat Lafleur officiating. A reception will follow at the Lessard-Stephens Reception Centre. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11am to 1 pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS
