Charles, Ernest (1923-2016)
The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Thursday, September 15, 2016, at the age of 93 years. Son of the late Jean Charles and of the late Lydéanne (née Robichaud) Charles. Loving husband of Germaine Charles (née Lacourcière) of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Ronald (Judy), Suzanne Treadwell (late Harry), Denise Lortie (Raymond), Claire Guindon (Daniel), Jacqueline (Kim), Raymond (Vera), Luc (Luis), Paul (Thérèse), Yvon (Anita) and Line Lloyd (Graham). Predeceased by his daughter Louise Kimberley (Ronald). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 27 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and by his 4 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers Emile and Jean-Paul and by sisters Bernadette Froncisz, Rolande Robitaille, Angèle Hudon, Sr. Madeleine Charles f.d.l.s. and Yvonne Loyer. Predeceased by his brother Marcel and by his sisters Jeanne Clement, Cécile Dumont, Thérèse Richer and Philomène Théoret. The Charles family will receive friends at the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Saturday, September 24, 2016 after 12 noon. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel. Donations to West Nipissing General Hospital (Chemo department) would be appreciated. (cheques only).
