BARTA: Eric Hans age 51 of Regina, SK passed away suddenly on October 3, 2016. A Celebration of Life was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from the Chapel of Warren’s Funeral Home with Dustin Patrick as emcee. Honorary pallbearers are all those who shared in Eric’s life and the interment service will take place at a later date. Eric is survived by his mother Elaine Barta; his sons Danius and Zayden Barta; his daughters Miriah and Kylie; his sister Lola (Dave) Barta; his brother Brad (Christina) Barta; nephews Ryker, Mason, and Harley as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He is predeceased by his father John Barta. Eric was born on March 10, 1965 in Swift Current to John and Elaine Barta. He attended St. Pats, O.M. Irwin and Comprehensive High School. Eric worked at D. LaRose Construction in Regina, SK and as a teenager and as a young adult he was an owner and operator of Trios, a family owned pizza restaurant. Eric also worked in the airline hospitality industry where he made life long friendships. Eric enjoyed spending time at the Eagles Club with his friends. He loved to entertain and make people happy. Eric was an avid Saskatchewan Roughriders fan, he enjoyed playing golf, pool and fixing cars. He also spent time coaching soccer for his sons team. Eric had a very kind heart and a quick wit. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Donations in Eric’s memory may be made to the trust account set up for his children at Innovation Credit Union in Swift Current.
