The death of Elizabeth “Betty” (Dunn)Godin of Miramichi, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the age of 79. Born in Miramichi, NB, Betty was the daughter of the late William Patrick and Cecilia (Richard) Dunn. Betty was retired from Shoppers Drug Mart as a Cosmetic Manager, was very in touch with nature and loved to garden. Betty attended St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. Betty is survived by two daughters: Cathy Joudry (Dave) of Nova Scotia, Ingrid Godin of Miramichi, NB; two sons: John Darrell Godin (Patsy) of Halcomb, NB, and Patrick Godin of Riverview, NB; three sisters: Alice Marie Gillis (Ralph) of Moncton, NB, Aurelia Coughlan of Kitchener, On and Bonnie Waye (Kenneth) of Saint John, NB; one brother: Brian Dunn of Miramichi, NB; nine grandchildren: Jenessa, Shawndra, Kurt, Caitlin, Kyle, Travis, Danin, Gage and Ryland; four great grandchildren: Kora, Karsen, Bennett and William. Betty is predeceased by one son Philip. Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Monday from 6-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated form St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 11 AM with Father Antonio Reyes officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. In Betty’s memory a donation may be made to the Parkinson Society or Miramichi Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
