Obituary
It is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of Elie Abboud in his 74th year, on November 27,2017. He passed away after a valiant and long fought battle with cancer. Elie leaves in mourning his wife of 50 years, Rita Chiaraluna-Abboud, his daughter, Christina, his 4 precious grandchildren, Jacob, Samuel, Benjamin, and Alexandra. Also left to mourn are his very large family, his two sisters Eugenie and Theresa, his brother Tony, his sisters in law, his brothers in law, and many nieces ,nephews and dear friends. Our family would like to thank his doctors, Dr. Assaad ElHakim, Dr. Albert Moghrabi, Dr. Helena Neamt, and all of his wonderful oncology nurses, and palliative care nurses. They always put a smile on his face. Visitation will be on at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Blvd. Des Sources, in Dollard-des-Ormeaux des Ormeaux, H9B 2A6 (514)685-3344 on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11 am at St-George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 555, Jean-Talon Est, Montréal, QC H2R 1T8.
