Eleanor Foss
1931-2017
It is with great sadness that the family announces the
passing of Eleanor Mae (Carr) Foss on Monday, October 30, 2017, at the
Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on September 21, 1931, she was the
daughter of the late Fred and Frances (Maxwell) Carr.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Roxann Foss (Jerry
MacLean); grandchildren, Jordan, Andrew (Shaun Rogozinski), Jared
(Amy) and Marlise Smith (Marc-André Loiselle); great
grandson, Logan Drummond; special niece, Donna Crowe; brother-in-law,
Ivan Foss; sister-in-law, Lillian Carr; as well as several nieces,
nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor is predeceased by her
husband, Ernest; son, David; brother, Amberse Carr; sister, Madeleine
Carr and foster sister, Cleta Grasse.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Friday,
November 3, 2017 and Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9
pm. A funeral service will be held at Geary Baptist Church with on
Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 3:30 pm with Rev. Don MacDougall
officiating. Interment will be at the Preston Carr Cemetery following
the service. Memorial donations may be made to Geary, French Lake,
Waterville cemetery or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
