Eldon George King
1941-2016
Eldon G. King of Zealand, NB passed away November 13, 2016 at the Dr.
Everett Chalmers Hospital. Eldon was born at Lower Hainesville, NB in
1941, a son of the late Eldon and Mary (Peterson) King.
Eldon loved hunting, fishing, playing crib, playing darts and reading
a good Western. He was known for his great cooking and welcomed
anyone into his home. You never left his house hungry. His
Grandchildren held a special place in his heart and he usually had one
of them with him. His love for his wife, Donna of 53 years, showed
right to the very end. He was a proud Father, Grandfather, Husband
and a friend to many. He will certainly be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Estey) King; four children, Terry
King (Lisa), Darren King (Juanita), Kevin King (Tammy) and Gloria
Morehouse (Barry); grandchildren, Tyler (Nicole), Ashlie, Tiffany
(Spencer), Brittany, Tyler (Kelly), Taylor (Jessica), Kendra (Kaeto),
Victoria (Jeremy), Mackenzie, Colby and Kayla; great grandchildren,
William, Zander, Bella and Gracie; an uncle, Harold King; several
cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two infant sons,
Richard and Randolph; a brother, Ernest King and a sister-in-law,
Marilyn King.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation or funeral
service.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Eldon, the family
has suggested the Canadian Cancer Society.
