Edward N. Millar
1938-2017
Edward Neil Millar, partner of Danielle Mallette, of Air Force Cres., Miramichi Retirement Community, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 17, 2017, at the age of 79.
Born in Kamloops, B.C., on April 3, 1938, he was the son of Alize (Wilcox) Millar; he was an engineer by profession and enjoyed his hobbies, which included Stained Glass, Photography and Pool. He played trumpet for two jazz bands, one in B.C. and one in Montreal.
He is survived by his wife, Danielle; one daughter, Chantal Walker, of Whitby, Ont.; three sons, Duncan Millar (April), of Waterloo, Ont., Dean Millar (Virginia), of Totterham, Ont., Ross Millar (Melanie), of 100 Mile House, B.C.; one step son, Nicholas Mallette Redlich (Sherry), of Port Hope, Ont.; seven grandchildren.
By his request there will be no visiting or funeral service at this time. A private family interment will be held at a later date and time.
