Edouard Meunier
1941-2017
LAKETON, NB – Edouard Meunier 76, of Laketon passed
away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
Born in Laketon, he was the son of the late Theodore Meunier and late
Rosie (Doiron) Meunier. Before retiring, Edouard was
employed as a truck driver.
Edouard will be sadly missed by his wife Bette Lynn Ritchie
Meunier of Laketon; two daughters, Bernice Meunier of Saint John,
Terra Lynn Jefferson (Paul) of Saint John; two sons, Edward Meunier
Jr. (Erica) of Saint John, David Meunier (Madeleine) of Victoria, BC,
Craig Cormier; fifteen grandchildren, Corey, Vanessa, Jocelyn,
Haillie, Edward Charles, Ashley, Rachel, Samantha, Melissa, Elizabeth,
Benjamin, Tamara, Jessie, Ashlee, Alexander and seven great
grandchildren, Jayden, Tinsley, Treasure, Bryce, Serenety, Justice and
Jaxon.
He is also survived by one sister, Gerald Hefler (late David)
of St. Louis; three brothers, Everard (Alice) of St. Charles, Eugene
(Ann) of Calgary, Paul of Thunder Bay and several nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Edouard was predeceased by two sisters,
Elodie Barrieau, Emerise Barrieau and three brothers, Ronald, Joe and
Adelard.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Monday at
9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will
be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des
Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Donations in Edouard’s memory
may be made to the New Brunswick Heart & Stroke
Foundation. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s
Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)
