Gignac, Edouard – With sorrow the family announces the death of Mr Edouard Gignac of Earlton at the age of 76 years. Mr Gignac passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home Monday, July 11, 2016. Edouard was born April 26, 1940 at St-Stanislas, Québec to the late Benoit Gignac and the late Rachelle Mongrain. Edouard was loved by all and was known for his good humour, his joie de vivre and positive outlook on life. He will be missed by all and especially by his family. He is survived by his loving wife Noëlla [Loranger]; daughters Manon [and René], Myriann and his son Martin [and Renée]. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Sébastien, Melissa, Jocelyn, Gabriel, Shane, Jeremy, Izabelle, Dominick, Riley and Bradey. Also survived by his siblings: Roland, Fernand, Yvette, Blandine, Rollande, Jeannine, Thérèse and Carmen; as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents and his sister Rita. The Gignac family will welcome friends at St-Jean-Baptiste Catholic Church – Earlton, Friday, July 15, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:00pm and Saturday, July 16, 2016 beginning at 10:00am. Funeral mass will be celebrated from St-Jean-Baptiste Catholic Church, Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00am.
