Edith May (Saunders) Wilkinson 1937-2016 The passing of Edith May (Saunders) Wilkinson, wife of the late Edward (Ted) Wilkinson, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday July 26th, 2016. Born in Fredericton on April 30th 1937, she was a daughter of the late John and Marjorie (Green) Saunders. Edith is survived by two sons, Edward (June) and Mark (Pamela) Wilkinson; two daughters, Kathy Wilkinson and Vicky (Aruna) Wilkinson. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Cheryl, Jason, Matt, Kayla, Natalie, Amber, Erin, Amanda and Lacey, by 4 great grandchildren; Ashley, Emma, Jackson and Violet. She is also survived by two sisters, Hazel Amos and Barbara Banks and a brother Robert Saunders. Besides her parents an husband she was predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters. Special thank you to the Doctors and staff at the DECH ICU Unit, Terri, Melanie and Chris for taking care of Edith. As per Edith’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Following cremation a graveside service will be held on Saturday July 30th 2016 at 1 PM in the Sunny Bank Cemetery.
