Reinke, Dr. Robert E. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert on Tuesday, June 14th, 2016 at the age of 67 years. He was predeceased by his father Dr. E. E. Reinke and mother Vida Reinke (nee Lock), of Pembroke. He will be deeply missed by his brother Brian (Dallas) as well as his nephews, Gregory (Rachel), Fort Myers; Kerry (Dana), Oakville; and Jaime (Cindy), Ottawa. Robert took great pleasure hearing about and seeing his great nieces and nephews Charlotte, Carson, Peyton, Calla and Cody. He graduated from Queens University (Kingston) in medicine and practiced briefly in both Peterborough and Windsor. He spent most of his career practicing in North Bay, Ontario. Robert was a soft spoken, gentle and kind person with a wonderful sense of humor. Rest in peace Robert knowing you were and are loved. Visitation to take place at the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Timothy’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 503 Alfred St., Pembroke on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Zion/St. Timothy Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
