On Tuesday, December 12, 2017, peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital. Dearly loved husband of 62 years to Sylvia (née La Roche). Beloved father of Louis (Marie), Patricia, and Robert. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Matthew and Megan.
Dr. Gialloreto will be remembered as one of the pioneers and educators of North American Cardiology. He was instrumental in the founding of Santa Cabrini Hospital, Villa Medica, The Heart Institute, as well as a member of the Cardiology team at the Montreal General Hospital.

Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Ascension of Our Lord Church, 375 Kitchener Ave, Westmount, QC, Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 10 o’clock. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, 401 Smyth Rd, Ottawa, ON, K1H 8L1, are appreciated.
