Douglas Lloyd
1950-2017
The death of Douglas Alexander Lloyd of Moose Mountain occurred on
Thursday, February 2, 2017 at his home with his family at his side.
Born October 15, 1950 he was the son of the late Winfred and Margaret
(Leith) Lloyd. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Amy and 1
brother, Donald.
Doug is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sheila; 2 children,
Jenifer Allen (Ken) and Jason Lloyd (Neely); 4 grandchildren, Megan,
Erin, Camryn and Rowan; 5 siblings, Martin Lloyd, May Atkinson
(Francis), Heather Lloyd, Elizabeth Noonan (Dave) and Andrew Lloyd
(Lee) as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from
4-7 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017
at 2:00 pm from the Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Toben
Steeves will officiate. Interment will be in the Mineral Cemetery at a
later date. Donations made to the Mineral Cemetery or Gord Downie
Fund for Brain Cancer Research would be appreciated.
