Douglas G. Williston
1929-2017
Douglas Graham Williston, of Bradd St., Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at the age of 88.
Born in Bayside, on May 6, 1929, he was the son of the late Melbourne and Emily (Graham) Williston. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Adams (Lawrence), of Little Branch and Edna Gallant of Moncton; two brothers, Ralph Williston (Celine) of Quebec and Dysart Williston (Joanne), of Fredericton; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters, Edith, Winnie, Dorothy and Doreen; seven brothers, Eldon, Ernest, John, Bernard, Melvin, Steven and Herman.
By request there will be no visiting at the funeral home. The public are invited to attend a funeral service to be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, September 29, 2017, at 11am, conducted by Rev. Robert Barry. Interment will be in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Bay Du Vin.
As expressions of sympathy donations to “Caring Friends” or any charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
