Obituary for Dorothy Holland
We regret to announce the death of Dorothy Holland on October 29, 2017 at North Centennial Manor at the age of 96 years. She was a member of the C.W.L. for 70 years, as well as a past member of the Women of the Moose. Dorothy loved playing the piano and was the pianist for the local Moose Lodge. She was a devoted housewife who did everything and anything for her family.
In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting. She will be greatly missed by her children: Marilyn Bergeron of Kapuskasing, Glen Holland (Jackie) of Kapuskasing, Judy Trudel of Kapuskasing, and Cheryl Holland (Doug McPhail) of Timmins; ten grandchildren: Kaureen, Jeff, John, Ricky, Derrick, Toby Anne, Francine, Nadine, Elliot, and Samuel; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as two sisters: Shirley Browning of London and Viviane Mawhinney of Kapuskasing. She was predeceased by her husband, George; her parents: Arthur and Annie Hudson; and one brother: Charles Hudson of Nipigon.
There will be no visitation, nor service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Centennial Manor would be greatly appreciated. ©
