Dot Ann Materi
Dot, born March 18, 1950 passed away peacefully after a long illness on Monday, January 9, 2017 at St. Paul’s Hospital at the age of 66 years.
Dot is survived by daughter, Rhonda Nishikowa (Neal) and children Ashley and Kayla; daughter, Angela Chicoine (Nolan) and children Cadence and Everett; son, Rick Materi (Jill) and his children Drew and Gianna and mother of his children, Tanya; brother, Eldon Scott (Susan) and family; sister, Nancy and family; half-sisters, Mary Jo Scott Schlanger and Lori Lee Scott and families; in-laws, Reb Materi (Eileen), Frank Materi (Alonka) and family, Debra Edighoffer and family, Debra Edighoffer and family; and her ever loving canine companion, Missy.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Rawleigh Materi; father, Hugh J. Scott; mother and father-in-law, Martina and Martin Materi; and brothers in-law, Guy Materi, and Dale Edighoffer.
Vigil for Dot will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Both services will be held at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, 1202 Avenue O South, celebrated by Rev. Fr. Steve Morrisey CSsR. Rite of Committal at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery will follow.
