Doris passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, with her loving family by her side on Sunday October 16, 2016 at the age of 91 years. Doris Sack (nee Fischer) of Pembroke beloved wife of the late Walter Sack. Loved and cherished mother of Joan Mohns (Evan), Arnprior, Judy Wolfgram (late Walter), Joe Sack, both of Petawawa, Pauline Siegel (Pat Brown), Pembroke, Fred Sack and Marie Sack (Andrew Molson) both of Petawawa. Loving grandmother of Andrew, Tim, Danny, Melissa, Kim, Dave and Greg. Predeceased by her parents Gustave and Emma (nee Nienkirchen) Fischer, her brothers Albert, Ernest, Robert, Norman, Lloyd and Walter Fischer and sisters Mary Fischer, Martha Emmerton, Emma Burger, Edna Yandt, Florence Tanner and Lois Ayres. Doris will be sadly missed by all her nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. Best friend and companion of Hailey. A Private Graveside Funeral Service was held on Wednesday October 19 at 11 o’clock in Mt. Zion United Cemetery. In memory of Doris donations to the Renfrew County OSPCA or the Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund.
