Doris M. (Dot) Brander
1925-2016
At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday
December 13, 2016 of Doris M. (Dot) Brander of Kensington, aged 91
years. Born in Baltic Lot 18 on October 12, 1925, daughter of the late
Neil and Tressa (Harding) Matthews. Beloved wife of the late
George L. Brander. Dear mother of Leo (Darleen) Brander, Halifax;
Carol Cousins, Irishtown; Gloria (Robert) Crafer, Bedford, NS; Don
(Dianne) Brander, Charlottetown; Judy (David) Mallett, Kensington;
Susan (Dick) Murtha; Halifax and Pamela (Gordon) MacLeod, French
River. Loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren
and 1 great great grandchild. Sister-in-law of
Vera Campbell, Spring Valley. Also surviving are
several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by granddaughters Jill Andrea Brander and
Ashleigh Colleen Brander, brothers Earl and Edgar (Mildred) Matthews,
sister Jennie Aitken, and brothers-in-law William
«Bud» (Mary) Brander and Lloyd Campbell. «A
life well lived is a beautiful
thing».
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington for
visitation on Friday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Saturday in the Davison
Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. Interment later in People’s
Cemetery, Malpeque. If so desired contributions may be made to the
International National Children’s Memorial Place or Malpeque
People’s Cemetery Fund.
