Obituary of Donald Palmer
DONALD PALMER
We are sad to announce the passing of Don Palmer of Regina, SK at the age of 68 years. Born in Balcarres, SK, Don was a member of Cowessess First Nation. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Eva Palmer; parents-in-law, Joe and Rose Ewalk; grandparents, Daniel and Margarite Lerat; sister Bev Graham; nephew Baris Palmer; and many aunts and uncles. Don is survived by his wife Marion; son Ryan Palmer; special granddaughter Arianna Palmer; godchild Carleen Ewalk; children he took as his own, Billy Joe, Carla (Roy), Tim, Ernest (Corrine); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Harry (Barb), twin Ron (Dora), Dave (Jan), Dale (Jody), and Greg (Brenda); one special sister Pat (Erwin); as well as numerous nephews and nieces; and Aunt Ruth Ann. Don was a very spiritual man, who believed in daily prayers. He worked as an industrial Painter for many years. Don was a very caring and kind person, who never complained or judged anyone. His door were always open for all to visit. We would like to thank the palliative care team at Pasqua Hospital for the kind care they provided. Special thanks to RN’s, Sharon and Susan. Everyone is welcome to join us at the Wake at the Indian Metis Christian Fellowship, 3131 Dewdney Avenue, Regina on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held also at IMCF on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Feast to follow. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
