Donald Mulder
Mulder, Donald Hazen (CPO 2nd)(Ret.) 75, of Lake Loon passed away on November 23, 2017 in Dartmouth General Hospital.
Born in Harrow, Ontario on June 28, 1942, he was the son of the late Erwin and Thelma (Grayer) Mulder.
Don served his country as a member of the Canadian Navy for 35 years until his retirement. Don was an avid sportsman who played football, softball and golf. He was a softball umpire in the Dartmouth area for more than a decade.
He is survived by his wife Marion (Bernard), daughters Crystal and Tracey, Lake Loon; son Kendall, Kitchener, ON; sister Judy (Ronald) Taylor, Kingsville, ON; brother Terrance (Katherine), Harrow ON; 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Charles and John.
Visitation will be Tuesday November 28, 2017 from 7-9 pm in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 29 at 1pm in Atlantic Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Repast to follow in Atlantic Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
