Bechard, Donald “Donny” Edward
Peacefully surrounded at home by the love of his family on Thursday, March 23, 2017 in his 87th year. Reunited with the love of his life Claire whom he shared fifty golden years. Donald “Donny” Edward Bechard of Pembroke, husband of the late Claire Bechard. Much loved Father of Richard Bechard, Barbara Bechard both of Pembroke, Deborah Bechard (Lisa) of Burford, Michael Bechard of Corbeil and Judith Bechard (Kimberly) of Bonfield. Cherished grandfather of David Bechard and Brittany Bechard. Predeceased by his brother Lindsay Robert Bechard and sister Marjorie St. Jean. Survived by sister Elizabeth Elliott of Pembroke. Donald will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews as well as extended family, friends and wonderful church family. Dad was an avid Euchre player and always ready for a game at a moment’s notice. Time spent with his family was his greatest joy. There will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 11:00 am at in the Chapel of The MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke, ON. Reception to follow. Spring Internment in Holy Trinity Cemetery. In memory of Donald, donations to the Lung Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
