Donald Edgar Brown – Bedford
Age 76, passed away on January 1, 2017 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Springhill, Cumberland County, he was the only child of the late Max Winston & Kathleen Jesse Hilda (Snelgrove) Brown.
Don lived in Halifax and retired in 2007 after years of working in the insurance industry. He married Sandra Lynn (Campbell) Brown and together they had three children.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Brown, children: Sherry Robinson (Kevin), Dawn Jensen (Troy), David Brown (Tammy), seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter, as well as Uncle Raymond & Aunt Ruby Brown. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Sandra.
Don was married for five years to Barbara Brown and was her husband until his death. They enjoyed travelling together, both members of the Studebaker Club and enjoyed life together.
Visitation will be held at Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 11-2pm, immediately followed by the funeral service at 2pm with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association.
