Deborah Ann Wood-Johnson
1965-2016
Deborah Ann Wood-Johnson, 50, of Moncton passed away
September 2, 2016 at The Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness. She
was the youngest child of the late Charles and Ethel Wood,
Moncton.
Debbie was formally employed with The Greater Moncton SPCA
and RBC, Moncton.
Lovingly missed by her cherished children Marcus and Megan
and precious little granddaughters Jaida and Talia- « Gammas
precious little gems-Gammas world ». Also lovingly
missed by her three sisters Lynn Ward, Wendy Wolfe and Cindi Anderson
all of Moncton and by her four brothers David and Barry of B.C and
Brian and Terry both of Moncton. Will be fondly remembered
by several nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Debbie, several
cousins and special Aunt Emily Shave of Newfoundland.
Debbie had an amazing love and compassion for all animals and
it showed by her involvement and commitment with the SPCA, Animal
Rescues and by fostering countless dogs and cats. Also by the love she
gave her own fur babies and all other animals over the years. For
this, Deb’s legacy will live on.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cobb’s Funeral Home,
330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview, N.B. (869-2007).
Honoring Deb’s own wishes, a private family service will take
place at a later date.
If so desired, donations can be made in Deb’s memory to: The
Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation indicating either: The
Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Center, The Oncology Floor 4200 wing or
Pediatrics Department.
Deb’s family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to The
Moncton Hospital Oncology Department and their most caring and
compassionate team of doctors, nurses, volunteers and
administration. Deepest gratitude to Dr. Diana Mukherjee and
the sweet caring nurses and caregivers on 4200 Oncology and Dr. Salam
and Dr. Ken Mitton for all the care over the years. You will never be
forgotten. Loving gratitude to all friends, co-workers,
extended family and acquaintances- we are thankful for your love and
support shown to Deb and the family over the last 8 years!
Loving thanks from the heart to Deb’s special Guardian Angels who
always went above and beyond to help out in any way possible. Too many
to mention but you know who you are. Amazing love.
