Roache, Debbie Lynn (Chetwynd) – 55, of Lower Sackville, passed away at Ivy Meadows, Beaverbank, Nova Scotia at the age of 55. Debbie was an active person who enjoyed life and all of her family. She took Stenography at Shelburne Campus and graduated in 1980-1981 and through the years had her own store business at Sunnyside Mall in Bedford, Nova Scotia and also worked from home. She was a well-liked person who was dedicated to her family and children. She fought for 34 years with what she had and always would say nothing but make sure that her family was taken care of. She will sadly be missed by her surviving husband, Freeland Gordon Roache of Lower Sackville; son, Nicholas Kyle Roache of Lower Sackville; daughter, Amanda Margaret Roache of Lower Sackville; brothers, Ken (Rose) Chetwynd of Barrington Passage and William “Bill” (Rhonda) Chetwynd of Bear Point; sister, Edith (Ivan) Goodwin of Shelburne; half-sisters, Mary Lou (Greg) Jollymore of New Ross and Ruth (Chesley) McComiskey of Charlesville; nieces and nephews, Glen Goodwin, Gary Goodwin, Sheri Demings, Matthew Chetwynd, Melissa Baker, Katrina Slaney and Meagan O’Brien. Debbie will be missed by us all. She was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Daisy (Nickerson) Chetwynd. A memorial service will take place at Bear Point Advent Christian Church on January 6th at 12 noon with Rev. Alvin McComiskey officiating. Following the service there will be a potluck reception at the Bear Point Advent Christian Reception Hall, Bear Point.
