Deanna Mary McHugh, born on March 11, 1941 in Quyon, Quebec, passed away on November 5, 2016. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Dennis McHugh, her three daughters and sons-in-law, Colleen and Tom, Karen and Harry, and Dawn and Chris, and her eight grandchildren Ryan, Jenna, Joseph, Deanna, Will, Ainsley, Skye and Griffen. She will be missed by her sisters and brothers, and by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. Deanna was an inspiration to all who knew her – her unwavering faith and the love she shared with Dennis gave her strength to meet every obstacle with grace.
A Prayer Vigil will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Bashaw on Wednesday, November 9 at 7:00 p.m. where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 10 at 2:00 p.m. with the Interment Service following at the Dorenlee Cemetery.
Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the M.S. Society of Canada.
