Born August 1st, 1926 has gone to sing and dance with the angels on November 9th, 2017.
Born in Barnet, London, England. Jean worked for Standard Cables and Telephone as a Tracer. She met her now predeceased husband Archie Alexander Davies from Buttress Saskatchewan during World War II. Arrived in Vancouver, Canada in 1948 and wed January 1st, 1949. Jean was naturally athletic and had many creative talents including singing, dancing, playing the piano, and cooking. She had a magnetic personality and compassion like no other. She is survived by children Belinda, William, and Lesley (Dean); grandchildren Christopher (Denyse), and Jonathan (Carrie); great grandchildren Brandon, Shayleen, Lucas, and Taylor; great great grandson Nicholas; sisters Daphne and Sheila; and many nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her brother Alec; sisters May, Heather and Joyce.
Mum, we miss your sense of humor, warmth, generous spirit, and fairness. A loss to those who won’t know you. We love you. We hope to honor you by continuing to make you proud.
