It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David at Victoria Hospice. David was born on March 24th 1942 in Reigate, County of Surrey, Great Britain. Dave is predeceased by his parents, Agnes and Thomas Clark.
Dave retired from DND in 2002 where he was an experienced painter and worked for many years as a sign painter for Neon Products, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Dave’s boisterous voice and sense of humor could light up a room in an instant. He was a hard working family man who always put family first. In all situations, Dave was always willing to help and support his friends and family no matter how big or how small.
Dave is survived by his wife, Marie; his sons, Jason (Sarah) and Sean (Lia); his sisters, Susan, Lorna and Maureen (Dan); his two sister in laws, Bernice (George) and Marion, also survived by his four grandchildren whom he adored with all his heart, Sean, Gage, Quintin and Haylee. Dave will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Our family would like to extend our greatest thanks and appreciation to Dr. T. Tresoor, the doctors at the Cancer Clinic and all the Palliative Care Unit at Victoria Hospice.
A service will be held on Saturday, January 21st at 10 am in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC with a reception to follow at his son’s home at 127 Lowland Road. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the BC Cancer Clinic or Victoria Hospice in Dave’s honor
Dave’s laughter and legacy will continue on in our hearts forever.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.
