David Charles Neal
1944-2017
It is with great sadness that the family of David Charles
Neal announce his passing which occurred on Wednesday May 17,2017, at
the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, on
February 25, 1944, he was a son of the late William and Patricia
(Roberts) Neal.
David is survived by his 3 children: Christopher
Neal, Michael Neal and Birdena Lavigne; grandchildren: Keaton Lavigne,
Mackenzie Lavigne and Dawson Neal; brother, Gregg Neal; sister, Susan
Teehan (Wally); along with several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his brother,
Dale Neal; sisters: Nancy Rodie and Jaince Green.
In his early life, David was an Army Major, he moved on to a
career as an optometrist. He enjoyed walking every day with
his cigar, while giving a peace sign as a wave to people passing
by. David will be missed by all who knew him, loved and
never forgotten.
Arrangements are under the care of
Brenan’s Funeral Home,
111 Paradise Row, Saint John
(506-634-7424). Keeping with
David’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral
service. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of
the Donor’s Choice would be appreciated by the
family.
