M. Darlene Stapleton
1940-2017
M. Darlene Stapleton of Victoria Corner passed away on Thursday, March
23, 2017 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was
born March 9, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Deane and Jean
Hallett. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
William « Bill » Stapleton; two sisters-in-law, Charlene
Hallett and Gail Hallett; and brother-in-law, Ed Bridgeo.
Darlene is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Kevin) Crouse, Rhonda
(Rod) Fitzherbert, Karla (Chris Anderson) Stapleton, Linda (Kristin)
Trecartin; grandchildren, Tyler (Morgan) Crouse, Corey Crouse, Jaden
Fitzherbert, Ryan Fitzherbert, Morgan, Hawksley, Sam Hawksley, Simon
Trecartin, Julian Trecartin, Molly Trecartin; great grandchild,
Paylann McBrine; siblings, Robert Hallett, Lorne Hallett, Bernetta
(Harold) Cox, Ronald (Barbara) Hallett, Connie (Matthew) Caldwell,
Lydia Bridgeo, Sterling (Wanda) Hallett, Bonnie (Hazen) Hunter, Cindy
(Paul) Walton, Natalie (Blaine) Bustard; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street,
Hartland on Saturday, March 25th from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral service
will be on Sunday, March 26th, at 2:30 p.m. from the Hartland Baptist
Church with Pastor Michael Horsman officiating. Interment will be in
the Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, donations can
be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes
