Obituary
It is with immense sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Darice Gayle Kelly on October 19, 2016, following a courageous battle with cancer. Brave and strong until her last breath, Darice showed us all what it is like to live with grace and to appreciate everything about life. Darice sadly leaves behind her loving husband, Jeff Anderson; beloved son, Brendan; and sisters, Dianne (Elden) Trach, Linda Kelly, and Sharon (Tom) Kelly. As well, Darice will be greatly missed by her in-laws, including Michael (Alain) Anderson, Sheila (Garry) Meads, and Suzy (Mike) Prangley; extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and her wonderful network of close friends. The family would like to sincerely thank the amazing nurses and doctors, in particular Dr. Judy Cooney and Dr. Valerie Capstick, who took such great care of Darice.
A Celebration of Darice’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Dayspring Presbyterian Church, 11445 – 40 Avenue, Edmonton, with Reverend Dr. Heinrich Grosskopf officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ovarian Cancer Canada, #105B – 409 Edmonton Trail NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 3K8
