Daniel “Don” Lamey
1933-2016
At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 of
Daniel “Don” Lamey, Charlottetown, age 82 years. Don
proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 30 years. Dear father
of Herb Lamey (Tracey), Rick Lamey, Judy Warren (Kevin), Mark Lamey
(Sharleen) and Lisa Doiron (Garth). Step-father of Colleen Patterson.
Loving grandfather of six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and
three step-grandchildren. Survived by five sisters and three
brothers. Predeceased by his wife Constance “Connie”
(Power) and three brothers and one sister. Resting at Belvedere
Funeral Home until Monday at 9:45 a.m. then to St. Pius X Church for
funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery,
Charlottetown. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 pm. Memorial donations may be
made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre. The Charlottetown
Branch No.1 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Service of
Remembrance at the funeral home on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
