Dallas passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016, with the people he loved, and who loved him, by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Gurry and Hester Conley; father-in-law and mother-in-law Roy and Irene Nash; brothers Art and Grant; and sisters Tess, Rene, Elva and Gladys. Dallas is survived by his loving wife Maureen; sons Elden Conley, Simon Jackson and Matthew (Brenda) Jackson; daughter Adrienne Conley (John Bidochka); granddaughters Alyssa (Stephen Gausman) and Mila Jackson; grandson Lucas Jackson; great granddaughter Stella Gausman; brothers Perry, Arkel, Van (Mary) and Jeff (Nellie); sister Iris Malley; and sister-in-law Jean Gaebel (Roy) and families. Dallas was a mechanical contractor in Regina for more than 30 years, and was the mechanical contractor for many large projects in Regina and Saskatoon. Dallas was very involved in the industry, serving as President of Saskatchewan Mechanical Contractors Association and President of Regina Mechanical Contractors Association, as well as serving for many years on the Board of Trustees, administering the Plumbers and Pipefitters Benefits Plan. Dallas was a long-time Saskatchewan Roughrider season ticket holder and involved in many projects at the current Mosaic Stadium. Maureen and family would like to thank the ‘special staff’ at Ward 3A, Palliative Care Unit for their compassion and exceptional care given to Dallas, and also the family, during Dallas’ stay in the unit. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Dallas had struggled for the last few years with Alzheimer’s; therefore anyone choosing to make a donation in Dallas’ memory to the Palliative Care Unit, Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5 or the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301, 2550 – 12 Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1 would be greatly appreciated.
