INGERSOLL: CORY DRAKE (1994-2017)
It is with great sadness that the family of Cory Drake
Ingersoll of Castalia, Grand Manan, NB announces his sudden passing at
twenty-two years of age, on Saturday, February
11th, 2017.
Cory will be lovingly remembered by his mother Sharla
Ingersoll, St. George, NB his father William Marratt, Ontario, his
older sister Cassidy Ingersoll, Fredericton, NB his grandparents Barry
and Roxie Ingersoll, his aunts and uncles Faron and Tina Ingersoll,
Kim and Chris Rayner, his close cousins Justin, Jordan, and Connor
Ingersoll, and Noah, Isaiah, and Keely Rayner all of Grand
Manan as well as many extended family members and
friends.
Cory attended Grand Manan Community School, and was a member
of community baseball as a child. He loved spending time in the woods,
building camps, and was a naturally talented carpenter and mechanic.
He was an incredibly dedicated and hard worker, dulsing throughout his
teenage life, working on the Irving oil truck with his grandfather,
for Cooke’s Aquaculture on the salmon site, and recently lobster
fishing. Cory loved his cats, his dog Daisy, and his
family.
A funeral service in memory of Cory will be held at Immanuel
Family Church, date and time to be announced.
Donations can be made to the Grand Manan Boys and Girls Club
or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated
by his family.
