Corey Michael Berens
September 19, 1981 – October 3, 2016
It is with great sadness we have to say goodbye to a man who was one of a kind, Corey Michael Berens. He will be missed and forever loved by his mother Darlene and step-dad Doug Relf; dad Ron and step-mom Debbie Berens; sisters Lindsay and Ashley and his special nephew Landon; grandparents Carol and Henry Myhal and grampa Bill Kochie; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his many friends.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Pat Kochie and Fred Berens.
Corey will always be known for his warmth, kindness and his love for the outdoors.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016 in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB, followed by a celebration of Corey’s life at the Selkirk Friendship Center.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Corey’s name to the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba for drug awareness and education; 204-250 Manitoba Ave, Selkirk MB R1A 0Y5.
