Cletus Daniel Harper 1952-2016 Suddenly at Western Hospital, with his family by his side on Saturday, July 16, 2016, of Cletus Daniel Harper, beloved husband to Shirley (nee Martin) Harper, of 251 Church Street, Tignish, age 64 years. Born April 6, 1952, he was the son of the late Daniel and Thelma (nee) Gavin Harper of Tignish. Cherished father to Christa (Joey) Gaudet of Tignish, and Ricky (Vanessa) Harper of Tignish. Loving grandfather to Lexin, Cailin, Dagin Gaudet, Kenzie and Kylie Harper. Dear brother to Doreen (Roger) Chaisson of Tignish, Jean Gaudet of Kinkora, Joey (Yvonne) Harper of Anglo, and sister-in-law Jeanette Harper of Tignish He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Beatrice Martin of St. Roch and the following brothers and sisters-in-law: Paul (Linda) Martin of Brooklyn, Carmella (Ernest) Pitre of St. Felix, Norma Ratcliffe (Bill) of Saint John, NB, Edward Martin of St. Roch, LeRoy (Christine) Martin of St. Roch, Rosie (Donald) Waite of St. Roch, Elaine (John) Kinch of Palmer Road, Cecilia (Floyd) Shea of Anglo and sister-in-law Gail Martin of Charlottetown. He was predeceased by a brother, James, brother-in-law, Gerard, father-in-law, Raymond, brother-in-law, Melvin, and sister-in-law, Anita. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Monday from 1:00 until time of funeral. Funeral Monday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 3:00 pm., Rev. Brendon Gallant, celebrant. Interment in the Parish cemetery.
