Charles Robert Jordan
1940-2017
Charles Robert Jordan age 77 of New Glasgow formerly
of Garden of Eden passed away on December 13, 2017 in the Aberdeen
Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Lochaber he was a son of the late
Wallace Jordan and Reta Pye.
Charlie worked with Pictou County Solid Waste from
where he retired. He was a member of Blair Presbyterian Church Garden
of Eden where he served as an elder. Charlie took great pride in time
spent with his grandchildren, loved the outdoors, enjoyed gardening,
fishing, spending time with family and
friends.
Charlie is survived by his wife Elizabeth
« Betty » (Finch), New Glasgow; children Darryl,
MacPherson’s Mills; Trevor (Kim), Garden of Eden; Tanya
(Wayne) MacLeod, Coalburn; grandchildren Alicia, Dale, Michael,
Sheldon, David, Jarrett, Jordan and Kayla; brother Ken (Judy) Reeves,
Lower Sackville.
He was predeceased by a daughter Lisa
Jean.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no
visitation or service by request. Burial will take place in the Garden
of Eden Cemetery at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made
to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
