Carla Melody Dowbush
February 10, 1951 – December 27, 2017
Unexpectedly, surrounded by her family at the Health Sciences Centre, Carla Dowbush, aged 66 years, of Winnipeg, MB, passed away.
She leaves to forever cherish her memory her husband Jim of 41 years; children Tracey and Myles; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kelsey (John), Kash, Michael and Rhys; twin sister Georgia; brother Garry (Esther) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and her dog Riley.
She was born in Regina, Saskatchewan to Clara and Glen Malick and spent much of her childhood in Vermilion Bay, Ontario before settling in Winnipeg. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs , watching CNN, football and true crime stories but what brought her the most joy was spending time with her family.
A celebration of Carla’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the Glen Eden Funeral Home, West St. Paul, MB.
A special thanks to all the Home Care workers that helped with her care during her many years battling Multiple Sclerosis.
