The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his family at
Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday, October 28, 2016 of
«Bud» David John Reeves, of Knutsford, aged 74, beloved
husband of Gloria nee Lidstone. Born in Truro, N.S. on October 23,
1942, son of the late David and Clara (Milligan)
Reeves.
Loving father to Darren (Ruby), Knutsford; Carla
(Larry) Waterman, SK; Lisa (Neil) Leibel, SK. and Denise
(Joshua)Boulter, Forest View. Cherished grandfather to Ashley, Mason,
Madisson, Connor, Carson, Lacey and Drew.
Bud is also survived by his sister Mary Enman,
Victoria West, mother in law Greta Ellis, O’Leary; step
mother in law Tish Lidstone; brother in law Gordon (Thelma) Lidstone,
Tyne Valley; sisters in law Sharon Smith and Bonita Lidstone, both of
Knutsford.
Predeceased by his parents, sisters Jean
(Earle) Sellick, Kay (Howie) Getson, Joyce, Myrtle, and brothers in
law Lyman Smith, Perley Enman, Walter Smith; nieces Angela Noye and
Jodi Lidstone; father in law Keith Lidstone and step father in law
Milfred Ellis.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary with visiting hours on Monday from 5-8p.m. Funeral
will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11:00a.m.
Interment will follow in Knutsford Cemetery.
