Brian Richard Atkins
Brian R. Atkins, 66, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton
Hospital on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Born in Moncton, he was the
son of the late Ledwell and Frances (Howard) Atkins.
Brian worked as a Truck Driver with MacDonald Paving,
retiring in July of 2017, with 44 years’ service. He enjoyed
NASCAR, watching hockey, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs and
spending time with his family.
Brian will be sadly missed by his wife, Susan (Bland) Atkins;
son, Jesse and daughter, Jackie (Shane), both of Moncton;
grandchildren, Jazlyn, Rylee, Drake, Faith, Jayla and Journee; great
grandson, Rowan; sister, Rosemary Boyle (Gary) and brothers, Paul and
Andrew (Joan); sister-in-law, Alice; several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his
brother, Daniel (2013).
A Service to celebrate and honour Brian’s life will
be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995) on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 1:30 pm. Refreshments
following the service. Interment will be in Shediac Road
Cemetery.
In Brian’s memory, donations to the Friends of The
